About Spooky Cookies

Hi! I'm Douglas McMillan, and I started Spooky Cookies during the pandemic as a way of staving off boredom, and has now become a focal point of my life! Making cookies and other baked goods is fulfilling in a way that I never thought that baking could be! 

I went to the Institute of Culinary Education both for their culinary arts and restaurant management programs. Ironically, I never did their patisserie program, though that has now become my passion.

I love all things paranormal and spooky. I'm a Halloweenophile, if that term exists, and if it doesn't, it does now! I also honeymoon as a paranormal investigator, which adds to my overall spooky lifestyle. I now combine my love of baking and my love of all things spooky and channel all of that energy into Spooky Cookies! I hope that it comes through to you in the originality in the names, flavor combinations, and textures that I strive to keep fresh and delicious every day!
